These are five things that I have discovered that help me be more productive. Maybe they are of some use to you, as well, if you need to get more things done in a day.

  1. Get up earlier. You think best in the morning, and can be more productive. I find that the earlier I get up, the more I can get done.
  2. Set apart a certain amount of time to accomplish each task.
  3. Create a quick plan of action before doing anything.
  4. Eat consistently (as needed) to keep your thoughts flowing. I always think better if I have eaten.
  5. Take a break for a couple minutes every hour. I like to get up and walk around a little, and then I usually come back with better concentration.
