Lizards

One thing I found prominent in Thailand was the abounding amount of lizards. Lizards on the walls. Lizards in the bathroom (I had little gecko that lived in mine). Lizards on the lights. They were literally everywhere. I personally prefer them over bugs, so I was cool with it.

A really cool lizard is the tokay lizard. It’s a large reptile that makes a tokay sound, hence the name. We had several at our house.

Sorry for the poor quality. It is hard to take a picture in the dark of something that doesn’t stay still.đŸ˜„

This little tokay lizard was trying to hide behind my school books. I don’t think he knew he was spotted.

Once a swarm of migrating bugs flew in and settled around our house. The lizards had feast. I think we even saw some gecko with expanded stomachs.

Well, that’s pretty much all I have to say about lizards.

“Four things on earth are small, but they are exceedingly wise… the lizard you can take in your hands, yet it is in kings’ palaces.” Proverbs 30:24 and 28.
