Life
This morning we had a LesMill’s BodyPump and BodyAttack Launch at the gym, which means new releases for a set workout. We like to have lots of fun when we’re working out, but we try especially hard to have fun during a launch. So, they had prizes they were giving out. We put our names in a box, and one they drew was me! They gave me an adidas bottle bought at a Live LesMill’s Class. This was a real God-send, since I didn’t have a perfect bottle I could travel with. Sadly, Stanley‘s spill if you are not very careful. Which is not very nice in an airplane (one time my water spilt in my seat—don’t tell the flight attendants—and I had to sit on my blanket). The bottle came at the right time! Thank You, God!
After an hour and an half of working out, we headed home for some lunch. Then, I washed my hair and got my sewing stuff out to repair some of my clothes. Yes, I do get holes in my clothes, and don’t ask me how, because I don’t know how myself. Probably just some natural disorder that I have 😕. Just kidding 😂.
My parents got me this cool little portable sewing machine for Christmas. Today I finally tried it out. I tried to re-hem my sister dress where the hem had fallen out. It did not turn out very well. I think I put a few holes in it by accident 😟. I’m sorry, Dawn Wild. The machine worked on the other materials that I had, but I tried again and again and I could not, could not get it to work to Dawn Wild’s dress. After that I was exhausted, but still managed to sew up the rest of my own holes.
By the end of a week of hard work and a tough workout that morning, I decided to take a nap. Even AdventuRose has to take a nap every once and a while (or sometimes even more than every once and a while). Thankfully, while I slept, Dawn Wild handstitched her dress.
So today was nice and exhausting, just right for a complete rest day tomorrow! I love that about Sunday. It’s a rest day! Well, so long and God bless.
“Six days you shall do your work, but on the seventh day you shall rest; that your ox and your donkey may have rest, and the son of your servant woman, and the alien, may be refreshed.” Exodus 23:12. (I think I’m the alien.)
