Spring… a Time of Renewal

As we look around us, beauty is everywhere. Life is being flushed into the plants around us, and they can’t help but spring forth.

How can we not praise God for His beautiful creation? I look outside and see the wonderful things God has done, remembering in my heart what the psalmist wrote in Psalms 65:9-13. “You [God] visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it. You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth. You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance. The pastors of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy, the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing for joy.”

Even the chickens are excited about spring!

Everything is certainly coming alive!

God has graciously given us each our own lives. Let us use them to bring glory to Him! So, wherever you are, take a moment to thank Him for everything, especially spring, and let your heart be filled with joy, just like the land around us! 🙂
