Sprint Away (At Least For Two Hours Like Me)
This evening I was planning to read Indy’s draft of one of his books. But Indy himself distracted me by inviting me to sprint with him and Dawn and several other little siblings (it was really cute; seven people huddled around a table racing to write as many words as possible).
Oh, yes, for you followers out there who aren’t up to terms with writing slang (I guess it’s slang🤷♀️), a sprint is when you set a timer for about an hour or so and then write as many words as you can. It’s fun. And even more fun with family or friends.
As I was saying, Indy distracted me from reading his book so I could write mine. (That sounded really cool so I had to say it, but I was only working on a story, which after some hard work could end up as a book, but I doubt it.)
So, today, that’s what I did for two hours. After I had gotten started on my first sprint, I just had to keep going for the second one. I would have kept on going if I didn’t have other things that needed to be done.
So, the point is if you’re ever bored or not bored you can always go sprint!
