Stroopwafels

This evening I had a steaming cup of coffee (don’t worry, it was decaf coffee) with a Stroopwafel on top! My mom gifted me with them on my birthday. They are little Dutch waffles that you can place over your cup to warm.

Indy and Dawn had one with me. Indy, who always enjoys eating his desserts slowly, let his Stroopwafel sit perhaps a little too long on his cup. Plop. It fell right into his coffee. 😂

The taste was elegant. The cinnamon flavor reminded me of Christmas. Muy Delicioso.
