A Diagram

I was studying for an exam today in Anatomy. I had asked God to help me as usual. I knew that there’d be a diagram that I would have to fill out (because there always is). I was pretty sure the test would ask me about every bone in the body, so I had that well memorized.

After I had studied mostly everything, I felt drawn to study this one graph which seemed relatively unimportant. I have no idea why I felt this way. I looked it over, absolutely sure it wouldn’t be on the test. Two more times I felt drawn to it. So, on the last time I just quickly memorized it.

I got to my test, still expecting to have to fill out a chart of the human skeleton, but, lo and behold, it was the diagram that I’d been so unnaturally taken with. All I can say is that the Lord helped me. He helped me study for the right thing. I probably would have failed if I didn’t have that memorized. So, thank You, Lord!

The Lord helps us. Psalms 3:4 says “I cried aloud to the LORD, and he answered me from his holy hill.” It is true. God is faithful.
