Love

Love can be characterized in several ways. First of all, what is not love? Love does not stem from hatred, malice, or abhorrence. Yet care, affection, adoration, and devotion are attributes of love. Charity is closely correlated to love but is the act rather than the essence of love. An illustration of true love can be seen in Christ Jesus’ love for the Church. He cherished them so immeasurably as to sacrifice His life so that they might live. Defined in a myriad of aspects, Love stands ready to be exemplified.
