A Road Trip: Part Two; The Redwoods
After a couple minutes drive from the thermal springs, we came across the towering forest of redwoods. Red trees blocked the fading light, as we drove deeper into the forest. We parked our car and got out to explore.
Evening was drawing near, but we managed to take a thirty minute walk through the lovely forest.
From small saplings to giant beastly trees, trees were scattered everywhere.
The cool breeze and clean air were so refreshing after the long car trip.
The park had many trails, including ones for horses and bikes, but the one that caught my attention was the eight-hour walk. I hope one day to go back and follow that trail. 😄
“Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy. [boldness added]” (Psalm 96:11-12)Â
