I Started Another Book

Although this is a different type of book than I usually share, it doesn’t mean I don’t also love it. When The Third Target by Joel C. Rosenberg was recommended to me, I, who have read many of Rosenberg’s other works, couldn’t say no.

Yes, yes, you’re surprised that I would like political novels, but I do and I can’t help it. I get totally caught up in all the action. The thrill. The adventure. The risk. All in a single book. So, if you like reading about Prime Ministers and foreign kings all portrayed in a fictionized style, you’ll love this series.

But I don’t recommend this to you if your usual read is about a girl who falls in love with this guy all while wrapped up in the troubles of life (aka romance/home novel), then you’ll find political novels drastically different with a touch more violence than just the bad guy kidnapping the girl. With political novels it’s more like the terrorists have taken over all the nuclear power and plan to use it, so the super hero of the story has to go save the day.

Yet, if you are interested in gun battles, valor, and ingenuity, you’ll love this novel.

Well, I guess I’m off to go read some more!
