A Road Trip: Part Three; The Night Sky

As we headed back, I settled into a wonderful George McDonald book that my dad let me read on his Kindle app (I had forgotten my reading light, so my dad kindly let me read on his phone).Minutes quickly passed as I immersed myself in Lilith.

Yet, my book was not the only thing interesting on our drive back. We had to look at the lovely stars. The city glow had mostly disappeared, so we could see sky above filled with numerous stars.

After we stopped on a backroad, we hopped out of car to gaze at them.

But that wasn’t the best part.

We got back on the road and I was reading about a talking raven, when my mom looked outside the car to see the Aurora Australis. We stopped the car again.

I looked at the blanket of color, somewhat like a rainbow of pink spanning the sky. It was beautiful!

Well, as I said at the beginning of these posts, this day held so many things I never ever expected, which I thank the Lord about.

“He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names.” (Psalms 147:4 )
