This afternoon, we went to get vaccinations for a certain foreign disease that doesn’t appear very often, if at all, here in the United States. Since, we’ll be traveling, we thought it best to take extra precaution.

I, who have been known for fainting and uneasiness at sight of blood, was worried that I might react in the same way to shots. But I prayed and God answered. Not a wink, not a flash, of lost consciousness before, during, or after the immunization. Yes, I was a little nervous, but the operation was successful. I thank God that it went well.

So, now I have a hole in my arm, Typhoid in my body, and an ache in my muscle, but I am alright! International adventure awaits!
