My Purpose

Here we adventure for a purpose. Here we seek to make the light known in the darkness. To conquer evil with good.  To share a joy that lasts. Here we let the Lord carry us away into the world of risking for His Kingdom—the best kind of adventure. “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

Hello! I’m Bella Rose and I love to adventure. Swept into a family who also loves to explore, I couldn’t help but enjoy it too!

I like to travel around the world, shining a secret light everywhere I go. Showing the world something different, something not of it. Join me…

Joy In Jesus

The Giver of Life

Everyone wants to be happy. Young people and old people—all seek happiness. But joy cannot be found in anything this world has to offer. Sports, racecar driving, marriage, and even adventure. Perhaps these things satisfy at the time, but eventually they too become dull and boring. But when one comes to the end of himself, realizes that he has no joy apart from God, and asks Jesus to save him, he receives all the joy he ever wanted and more. Life in Christ fills every desire. No longer do we Christians seek to sin against our Master and Creator. Our hearts have changed, to be conformed to the image of Christ. Because of this, we have joy forever! Matthew 19:29,  “‘And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.'” That also includes joy. So, whatever path my life leads, I know that it will be okay, because I have infinite joy and contentment in Christ Jesus. I’ll have the best adventure following Christ and risking for His Kingdom!

    Breakfast & Bible

I like to make my Bible studying extra fun by eating my breakfast while reading. This morning I had a bowl of Raisin Brand cereal along with a cup of hot chocolate, while I read from Exodus and Hebrews (those two books of Bible go really well together. It’s almost like Hebrews is the guidebook for a Christian trying to understand the Levitical law. I love Hebrews; it’s so encouraging).

    Cricut Material

After I finished my studying, I edited some of my papers, so I could be free to start working on my new shirts.

I went ahead and bought a T-shirt, a hoodie, and more material, which was probably a silly idea, since I already have two other shirts that I had bought earlier that I didn’t print anything on yet (it’s so easy to get caught up in buying new things that you don’t realize you don’t need them😂).

Well, anyway, I bought them, so now I’d better make something of it. Since I wanted a loose fit, I got a large and an extra-large (that way if I don’t like it, I can just give it to one of my bros).

So, now I just need to make up something to put on them. 😆🤷‍♀️ Why did I buy it when I didn’t have anything to put on it?😅 Sometimes I perplex myself. 🤭

So, I’m now hoping to figure something out tonight so I can get that done.

    Biscuits

Today, I also baked some biscuits with this awesome mix (on the left).

The only ingredient the mix requires is buttermilk (so simple, I love it!). Since, we didn’t have any on hand, I added some apple cider vinegar to some milk, and, boom-shock-a-la-ka, five minutes later it was clumpy.

I got to test out these wonderful measuring cups as well. I heart them (get it?). They’re so cute. 😍

After I made one batch and it only filled half the tray (not really surprising, considering how often I make the mistake of making too little🙄), I had to quickly whip up some more.

They turned out really well, and went perfectly with our sausage. They might have been the best biscuits I’ve ever baked. Mmm…. After we finished eating, I packaged the leftovers up for breakfast tomorrow.

    Updates

You guys are probably wondering how I feel not posting every day. It’s a lot more relaxing, that’s for sure. The first few days off I felt like I needed to post something, but I didn’t, which was good, because I needed a break from it.

Just a heads up, I’m thinking about redoing some things on my blog, so I can’t wait for that.

I had lots of fun today and I’m so thankful for everything God has given me. Praise the Lord! He is so so wonderful!
